Artist's Description
A Bell 206B JetRanger III outfitted for cropdusting gets ready for a run over a hay field in Templeton, California.
This Bell JetRanger III was built in 1976 and is owned by Sinton Helicopters in Paso Robles. This particular helicopter crashed while filming a car commercial in 1996. It suffered substantial damage, but was repaired and is now flying over San Luis Obispo county.
The Bell 206 was introduced in 1966 and the 206B in1971. It is virtually the same aircraft, built on the same airframe with the primary differences being a more powerful engine and an updated cockpit control layout. The JetRanger series is an extremely versatile aircraft. It is the most successful commercial helicopter ever produced, and are commonly seen used by police, news media, and countless private corporations.

These crop-dusters are so fun to see....when I was a kid, we would go out and watch them....we lived on foothills and it was rather tricky to hit the trees....truly these pilots are masters at their jobs! FLPTw
