Description
Highway 9 passes through a tunnel at Zion National Park.
Zion National Park is located in southwestern Utah. It was Utah's first National Park, established in 1919. The Zion - Mount Carmel Highway passes through the southeastern corner, it's most famous feature being the 1.1 mile tunnel cut through the sandstone cliff. This somewhat shorter tunnel is about one mile to the east of the long one.
