This brightly colored pirate stands lookout in the crow's nest of a pirate ship in the playground at Avila Beach.
Avila Beach is a small community in San Luis Obispo county. The town was established as a shipping port for San Luis Obispo in the second half of the 19th century. Today, tourism is the primary industry of this beach town.
