This White Fronted Tern zoomed though the air over a harbor at Port Chalmers, New Zealand, in search of a tasty fish.
The white and black White Fronted Tern is the most common tern in New Zealand. Unlike their far-migrating arctic cousins, these birds are content to stay home throughout the year. If you lived in a place like Port Chalmers, New Zealand, you'd probably be happy staying home too!
