Building Blocks -- Greek Homes in Fira, Santorini, Greece metal print by Darin Volpe.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description

If someone were to build a town out of nothing but white and blue Legos, I'm convinced it would look like Fira, Greece.

Fira is on the Greek island of Santorini. Santorini is a popular cruise ship destination located in the Aegean Sea, about 120 miles off the coast of mainland Greece. It forms a crescent around the lagoon formed by an ancient volcanic explosion. Atop the black cliffs of volcanic rock, Fira consists almost exclusively of blocky, bright white buildings trimmed in blue.
