Description
G53 looks a bit darker than the others. D48 and E48 both have cracks near the nasal cavity. And D50 looks like its molars are a bit worn down.
Sea of Skulls is a display at the San Francisco Academy of Sciences. 400 skulls are mounted high on the wall, looking down on visitors below. Each one was collected and cataloged by Raymond Bandar over sixty years. And they tell a story. By studying the bones, scientists learn if the sea lions were sick and what they ate, and having such a large collection lets them compare and determine the overall health of the local sea lion population.
