Description
Between 3,700 and 8,400 gallons of water spray forth from Old Faithful during one of it's eruptions. The geyser has been erupting at predictable intervals since it was discovered in 1870, and the current average time between eruptions is about 90 minutes. Water blasts out of Old Faithful at over 200 degrees Fahrenheit to a height of between 100 and 185 feet, and continues for between 90 seconds and five minutes.
