"$2 on number 1 to win."
"Gem of a Marina" started strong in the 7th race at Santa Anita Park, taking the lead of the pack shortly out of the gate. But her jockey Tyler Baze couldn't keep up this filly's momentum. By the first turn she'd fallen from first to fifth place and by the end of the race was in 6th out of a field of six horses. Oh well, that's why she came into the race with 5 to 1 odds. No easy $10 here, just another two bucks down the drain.
