Jackalope Wrangler -- Volkswagen Rabbit at the 24 Hours of LeMons Race, Sonoma California Tote Bag

The American Jackalope was discovered in 1932 by the Herrick brothers in the tiny town of Douglas, Wyoming. The creatures are extremely dangerous, and it's advised that jackalope hunters protect their legs from being gored by wearing stovepipes around them. One sure way to catch a jackalope is by setting traps baited with whiskey, their favorite beverage.

The 24 Hours of LeMons is an endurance race for cars that are bought and prepped for the track for $500 USD or less. Just about anything with four wheels that was street legal when it was made and passes the safety inspection is welcome. The rules do let you spend more for the wheels, brakes, and required safety gear, but if the judges decide the basic car is worth more than $500 you'll be penalized one lap for each $10 they decide you've gone over. No prior racing experience or training is required - if you've got a driver's license and an old beater, you're ready to race.
