Description
You'll see plenty of white flags at a 24 Hours of LeMons race. Where you have $500 heaps being driven by drivers with varying levels of skill, breakdowns and accidents will happen. When they do, white flags are displayed to let the drivers know that there's slow traffic on the track.
The 24 Hours of LeMons is an endurance race for cars that are bought and prepped for the track for $500 USD or less. Just about anything with four wheels that was street legal when it was made and passes the safety inspection is welcome. The rules do let you spend more for the wheels, brakes, and required safety gear, but if the judges decide the basic car is worth more than $500 you'll be penalized one lap for each $10 they decide you've gone over. No prior racing experience or training is required - if you've got a driver's license and an old beater, you're ready to race.
