Description
This old classic has seen better days. The airplane hood ornament indicates a 1956 model, the gold "V" in the shadows below that it was powered by a V-8 engine. My best guess is that this is a Plymouth Belvedere, but it also looks like it may be a Plymouth Fury.
The first Plymouth was introduced by the Chrysler Corporation in 1928 as a lower priced alternative to Chrysler branded automobiles. Plymouth was one of the top-selling American car brands for much of its history, but as sales fell in the 1990's the brand was down to three models. Plymouth ended its 73-year run in 2001.
