Artist's Description
Tomorrow is opening day of lobster season in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The boats at L'Étang-du-Nord on the island of Cap aux Meules line up on the dock as lobster fishermen prepare stacks of lobster pots with bait in anticipation of the next morning's race to the sea. Overhead, a gull keeps an eye out for any bait that may have been left unattended.
