Artist's Description

The iconic Los Angeles City Hall building was designed to incorporate many design styles, but is predominantly Art Deco with its tower design with setbacks and stepped pyramid. Completed in 1928 and retrofitted from 1998 to 2001 to withstand minimal damage in an 8.2 magnitude earthquake, it stands 454 feet tall with 32 floors.
