Description

Each autumn the town of Morro Bay, California, fills with over 150 species of migrating birds. Down on the beaches several species of sandpiper, like these three Marbled Godwits, dodge waves and pull crabs our of their sandy homes below. They'll stay until May, then move inland to breed in the prairies of the northern United States and southern Canada.
