In my opinion the most beautiful skyscraper ever built, the Chrysler Building stands as a spectacular Art Deco monument to a time gone by.
When it was built, Chrysler Corporation's new headquarters was widely criticized for being too ostentatious and ambitious, but over the years it has come to be considered one of the finest buildings in New York City. The Art Deco style architecture contrasts with the simple black monolith that is Trump World Tower.
The Chrysler Building and Trump World Tower in the metropolis of New York City stand in front of the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, which connects Manhattan with Long Island. The smokestacks of the Ravenswood Generating Station are across the East River, and beyond is the Astoria neighborhood in the Queens borough.
