The great thing about having a 600mm lens is that you can catch native animals displaying their natural behavior. This fisherman was walking along the surf in Morro Bay one morning as I was photographing the local shorebirds. I expecting to come home with photos of snowy plovers, curlews, and other birds that day, but you never know when an unexpected animal is going to display interesting behavior.
