What began as a small Templeton feed store in 1946 has grown to fill the entire block, with an 80-foot grain elevator storing much of the 300 tons of feed that the store manufactures and sells each year. The family-owned business is still run as it was when it opened - invoices are hand-written, credit cards are not accepted, and there are no computers to help keep the books.
I have been photographing the things I see for over thirty years. A resident of San Luis Obispo County, I'm lucky to have many excellent photo destinations within a few minutes' or hours' drive. Beyond the local area, I have traveled throughout California and the western United States, visited far away American destinations such as Chicago, New York, Florida, and Alaska, and international destinations in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
