This Emerald Tree Boa was at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.
The emerald tree boa is found in the South American rainforest. Adults grow to six feet in length and live about fifteen years in the wild. They live primarily in the trees and rarely descend to ground level. To rest, they grip a tree branch with their tail and wrap the rest of the body around it.
