Once upon a time there was a little boy racecar and a little girl racecar. Around and around they went. Sometimes she would chase him, sometimes he would chase her. But like lots of little racecars, it was more about the chase than actually trying to catch each other.

The 24 Hours of LeMons is an endurance race series for cars that are bought and prepped for the track for $500 USD or less. No prior racing experience or training is required - if you've got a driver's license and an old beater, you're ready to race. Some are out to win, some are happy just to finish, and most are just there to have a good time in the chase.

I have been photographing the things I see for over thirty years. A resident of San Luis Obispo County, I'm lucky to have many excellent photo destinations within a few minutes' or hours' drive. Beyond the local area, I have traveled throughout California and the western United States, visited far away American destinations such as Chicago, New York, Florida, and Alaska, and international destinations in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
