Play Me a Song of Springtime -- Fiddlenecks in Carrizo Plain National Monument, California Beach Towel

The hills of California brighten with wildflowers in the spring, and 2017 was particularly spectacular due to the first heavy rains in several years. The hills were covered in a carpet of yellow flowers, lending the perfect backdrop to this group of fiddlenecks at Carrizo Plain National Monument.

Carrizo Plain National Monument is a beautiful place to experience nature. It is the largest remaining remnant of the vast grassland that once covered California's Central Valley. It is home to countless wildflowers in the spring, as well as antelope, elk, and a myriad of smaller animals and birds.
