Description
The RMS Queen Mary's left on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York on May 27th, 1936. Exactly one-thousand voyages later it docked for the last time in Long Beach, California. In the years between 1936 and 1967 it carried such celebrities as Bob Hope and Audry Hepburn, and such heroes as the soldiers who helped defeat the Nazis in World War II. Today it hosts tourists from all over the world who want to experience a small piece of a bygone era.
